What's a GuestMap?

Also wondering if the SoapSuds forum was supposed to be in the public access area with the "Welcome" and "The Rules" forums?

The GuestMap had stickpins to show where all the members here live, but I heard there are a lot of pop-ups on that site. I don't get them, so I don't really know, and I don't see it anywhere after the upgrade. It may be gone. :scratchhead:

The SoapSuds forum was created for the Prodigy soap opera fans who are being displaced from the Prodigy Films and TV board just like we are, if they choose to come here. I thought Films and TV was an appropriate place for them. They have been invited and if they don't come the forum can be deleted.

Re SoapSuds - what I meant was that it appears to be accessible prior to login, instead of requiring login like most of the others.

Re: the map.
I took the link out becouse it would flood your computer with popups.
If everyone would like it back, I will put it back up. I will put a poll up to see.

RE: soapsuds..I will change the permissions on it. Thanks Henry for pointing that out. :)

Oh! I'm always signed in so I didn't know non-members could see it.

I had an idea (yeah, I get them once in a while :rotfl: ) for the SNW forum. Since we obviously discuss more than just sci-fi, shouldn't the forum description reflect that? I know that most of us in that forum are Prodigy refugees, but for new people that might want to join it would be nice to let them know that we also discuss fantasy and horror along with the strange and unusual...

Yeah, it's time to lose the Prodigy Refugees label. :)

How does this sound:

"Science Fiction and Fantasy forum. Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate, Buffy, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Babylon 5, Farscape, and more."

That sounds good. It lets people know we are more than just ST & SW.
