On the old forum when I signed on I would automatically go to the most recent page but here I go to the very first page posted of each topic. Is there some setting I should change?

I don't know if there's a setting, but under "Last Post", to right of "By [author]", there's a little symbol that is a link to the latest post of that thread.

I don't think there's a setting for that. (haven't looked) I just click on "first unread post" to see where I left off.

I went back and checked. I don't find a place to make the first unread post appear. I do know there was a checkbox in the original forum for that, but this version doesn't have it.
