Photo Gallery

In that for security reasons we may have our non-attended photo gallery closed down I've found a photo gallery for pholkes who love to view photos, and etchings and paintings and sculptures and such. It's running a little slow right now 'cuz The New York Times publicized its existence in yesterday's newspaper.

It is EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING currently in the hands of The New York Public Library's collection. AND they're there for the taking. Download to your hart's content. Print them, hang them on your walls and save all that money you would have otherwise used on fresh paint. Go for it!

It's so busy that link might not work at first. I got in by doing a Yahoo! search for the address and clicked on their answer. Maybe Yahoo! has priority? What do I know?

If we no longer have a Photo Gallery here is it possible to post photos within say this message? Or do we need the local photo gallery to do that?

We still have a photo gallery. I think Trucker decided not to upgrade the forum software.

And the answer would be no. You may link to a photo in a note, but you can't store a photo in it. You'd still need to find an online host for the photo file. There are lots of free ones around.

Yes, we do still have a photo gallery (it's called the "Album"). It's going to remain.
Without it, you would need to have a hosted account somewhere to link the photos.
