80's here and 20% or less precipitation for the foreseeable future. It's been the warmest January I can recall here.

It's still pretty cold in the morning.........sun does its best to warm us up. Suppose to be in the 70's (maybe.....they changed it to 67) Friday and I hope it's in that area on Saturday since I'll be going on a tour of the USS Iowa, then.

Today supposedly got a little above freezing for a few minutes in the afternoon.

Tomorrow is not expected to get above freezing.

Still, that sounds better than what I'm hearing about the northeast lately.

In preparation for tomorrow:

"Wake up, it's snowing and it's Monday, gonna be one of those cold days (or weeks)..."

(That wasn't off key was it? :D )

FLAKES!

Then slippery slidewalks! Er, I mean, sidewalks! Oh wait, I guess it was right the first time!

We had flakes Saturday morning but they were only in the air. But a 30-minute blizzard the Saturday before put down an inch of snow while we were in a restaurant having lunch. The car said it was 44 when we went in and 32 when we came out. Then the sun came out and it was mostly gone by evening. Weird weather.

Spring has started! Well, according to the calender, anyway.

Through Friday is expected to be comfortable in the afternoons. But...

Saturday through Monday - expected "high" is below freezing, with flakes Saturday.

Today: 70's.

Tomorrow: 30's with 80% chance of flakes, expect 1 to 3 inches.

Spring is going into recess!
