What eats Portuguese Man-O-Wars, stores their venom so they can use it against prey, and spends their entire life floating on the ocean? Meet a Blue Dragon otherwise known as glaucus atlanticus, one of the sea slugs of #Hawaii. They are rarely seen but do wash up occasionally when the winds blow on-shore. Be careful with these. They concentrate the man-o-war venom and can pack a punch.

Saw some lizards today, while walking around the block. Really little ones compare to any I recall seeing before; leaves me wondering if it's from a litter, or brood, or clutch, or whatever that's called for lizards. Cute little things, each maybe the length of a small finger or a little less, including the tail.

This summer the lizard population has appeared to be way down from what it was the previous two summers, except for today. Can't judge their numbers in seasons other than summer.

Never thought I'd see an attractive jelly-fish.

We have a lot more squirrels and chipmunks this year then I can remember. I understand the deer are more numerous this year too. The harsh winter must have kept them all home. "What do you want to do tonight dear"? "I don't know, what do you want to do?" :rotfl:

Think of the fish you could catch with that worm as bait! Totally tubular!

That "worm" probably would have eaten the fish.
