I was watching a cake challenge show and the couple getting married wanted a tardis on the top (now we know where it is). The cake decorator said "Dr. Who fans are like Trekkies <groan>, they KNOW specifics." I shouted at the television "TrekkERS and Dr. Who fans are OFTEN THE SAME PEOPLE YOU IDIOT!"

Sigh...scared the cats...again

In our morning staff meetings, there is a doctor who waits for no one...he starts giving report on his patients almost as soon as he walks in the door, even if he is a little early. The Quality Chief told him that certain people need to hear the report and to wait until they are there. Not every one can just drop patient care and get to the meeting right at 9. Only once have I seen someone come in more than 5 minutes late. I know the dr is pressed for time, but he speaks so rapidly and with such an accent that more than once others including myself have had to ask him which patient he was talking about. I love him, he is a sweetheart, but patient care comes first, doggone it. If the ones getting report can't understand it, what good is it? <jumping off the soapbox> :scratchhead:

Now just imagine what we poor patients have to put up with when attended by such a doctor. It's hell. :flame:
