Nope. Actually, the forum places a tiny little text page on your computer telling itself what posts you've looked at. When you come back later, you'll notice yellow icons telling you where there are new posts. If you delete it, (which you should do from time to time) you'll get alllllll yellow New post icons for the forum. btw, that little text page is called....wait for it......hehe, a cookie. Why? I have absolutely no clue.
I personally delete all forum cookies once a month "After" I've visited the forum. Then, just log back in and click the little link to mark all posts as read. Each time you log in, a new cookie is placed, so they can add up fast.

Hmmm. I usually delete all my computer's cookies regularly but I guess that doesn't apply here so maybe I should look to do some "Show Place" house cleaning.
