I'm hoping Xjmt's login problems are fixed now. That was him above if you couldn't tell.

OK. I'm in again but I have no idea how long this will last. I Reset Safari and deleted all cookies in spite of the fact that Reset Safari does the same thing so I'm in. But I'm in with the new dummy sign in I was given. Do I want to change them and if so how? :scratchhead:

Today I saw three "new" replies by xjmt2, dated last week, in topics that hadn't previously been flagged as having new replies. But since his replies dated today are showing up today, that it probably isn't an issue now?

His new account is set for moderator approval of posts. I just yesterday noticed that, and approved the queued posts.

Now I need to figure out how to turn off the approval requirement. :scratchhead:

It's a default setting for new members. I've never understood why they made it stock, and can't disable it. After 5 (or 10?) posts, it will automatically put him in the regular catagory and his posts won't need approving.

I suppose the reason for that default setting is likely to have something to do with spambots.

Ah, that makes sense. It also explains why I couldn't find the "posts require approval" checkbox, lol.

Thanks, Trucker!

FYI I'm still suffering delayed postings while the post master general reads my posts. :crying:
