I'll be on travel to Japan again, starting tomorrow through the 22nd. This time my destination is MCAS Futenma, in Okinawa. My father was stationed on Okinawa during the Korean War, most likely at Kadena AFB (sadly, I can no longer ask about the old war stories, now that I am old enough to actually want to hear them). He was in the Army Air Corps, later the USAF, part of a B-29 crew (he was a bombardier). It'll be interesting to see his old stomping grounds, though I'm sure it's changed a lot in the past 60 years! I'll be online when I can. Be good!
