The ground changed color last night - everything's all white this morning. And this from only 30% chance of snow; think what it'd be like if the chance had been 90 or 100 %.
As if that wasn't bad enough, Monday's "high" is expected to be in the 20's and Tuesday's in the teens. Ack.

Well we had a wind chill of Zero deg this AM and according to the official report 7 inches of snow. And East of us got more. Lake Effect they call it.
The water of Lake Erie stays warm late into the winter months so any clouds from either West or North cross the lake, pick up moisture then dump it on us as 'white stuff'. We pray for the lake to freeze over so that doesn't happen.
Get us! Praying for cold, freezing, cloudy days just to beat off the next snow strom.

Yes, but the Santa Ana winds will be kicking up pretty soon. Then, summer will be back.
(just kidding).

You'll get yours when the whole stinken' state slides into the ocean. And gets left there. I mean, you guys were the wrong color this last election, weren't you?

Actually, 75% of the state was red. Problem is, 57% of the people who voted were blue.
The whole state will not slide off into the ocean. Now, San Francisco may go a little further out in the ocean tho.
BTW, contrary to popular opinion, the San Andreas fault runs just east of the Bay area. If that fault ruptured, and everything west of it fell into the ocean, I would then have ocean front property.
(or closer too it)

If that comes to pass then I can just hear the whales and dolphins and whatever saying, "There goes the neighborhood!"

Hey, here we're only now melting from the last snowfall.
Day before yesterday the "high" was a single digit number. Ack.
