Vincent Schiavelli, the character actor who appeared in scores of movies, including
Ghost and
Batman Returns, died Dec. 26 at his home in Sicily of lung cancer, the Associated Press reported. He was 57.
He also appeared in the first season
Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Arsenal of Freedom", as a holographic arms dealer (pictured).

Another great character actor lost to the ages...
He also played Uncle Enyos in the episodes "Innocence" and "Surprise" on Buffy.

At first I saw a little splurb in the obits of the local rag and it was so edited down I couldn't think for the life of me who he was but the NYTimes supplied a photo. Then I knew. Hey guys, he wasn't that old.
Based on this obit I'm on borrowed time.
