"Shooby-do-do-do-wah" was a background refrain in rock songs from the 50s. Why else would they call shows that feature performers of that era a "Doo-Wop" show? That was another take on the refrain.

You just gotta spend more time with your history books, dude. That or visit the "Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame and Museum" in Cleveland, OH some time soon.
