What happened yesterday/last night? Last time I got on was around 4, couldn't get on between 6 and 10. Is the server misbehaving again?

I don't know what's going on. I've sent a couple of emails to my host to find out what the intermittent outages are, but have not recieved a reply.
I'm about ready to tell my host where to go, and get another host.

I am in the process of downloading all the files on my site (been at it for an hour already just to get 60% of the files. I'm on DSL, so that let's you know how large my site really is) I am also checking out some other hosts. If I change hosts, the only thing that will be noticed here is that the forum won't be accessable for a day or two. I will let all know if I have to resort to this.
My host has been forwarned.

My host actually finally emailed me apologising for all the down time. He never stated why, but my return email stated that if he knew the server was going to be down on a certain day, he needed to let his clients know ahead of time.
You are correct Anne. I will never get another deal like this one. Especially with such a large amount of stuff I have. I will only move if it becomes absolutely necessary.
(right now, I'm not at that point. Just perterbed)
