Heavy traffic here caused by Spring Break and earlier in week Mardi Gras festivities. And just what is that very bright orb we see in the sky?

Hey Xjmt, did you hear the sonic booms from the shuttle this morning? It passed right over Sarasota on its way home, though I'm not sure if it might have been too high at that point for the booms to be noticeable on the ground. They were huge in Orlando!

I've heard them as the shuttle lands here in California....at Edwards....not often, though...Just depends on the wind direction.....

No shuttle booms but thunder booms last night and this morning!

And I'd heard the only time they switch the landing is when they can't get Brian off the runway!!
