Re "They would think we had a forum full of loonies"

If'n you'd think people might call us loonies - check some of the theads on this BB if you think we're the loony ones.

Note especially who (or rather, what) moderates a certain forum near the bottom of the main page for that BB.

Naaa, I wont go to any other BB......I'd only get depressed....not to mentioned lost.

Nope......there are plenty of bread crumbs for me to follow to get back here!!!!! (thank goodness)

I don't know if its just plain good luck, or what.....but, the SciFi boards that I've had the privilege to be a part of have all been pretty super! Course, they've all been knocked off

....but, hey!
I've made some good Friends on these boards and even IF our BBs have been unceremoniously done away with we've managed to stay in touch. I'm so glad that when Yahoo gave our BB the thumbs down that we all...well, most of us, anyway....migrated to this board that Trucker so magnanimously (he did have a choice, right?

) welcomed us to join.

Henry, I looked at that forum but I didn't see any moderator's names. How do you know who is the mod?

And lswot, Trucker did have a choice because he lives on the West Coast and I live on the East Coast and I wouldn't have been able to pound on his head if he refused.

Re "How do you know who is the mod?"
It's the last forum on the main list for that BB; on the forum page it's on the left side a couple of inches from the top of the page. Also there's a picture of said moderator that shows up from time to time in the posts.

I do wonder what ever happened to the curmudgeonly Mr. Jim Trapp. Do you know where he went to, daWoim??
