That's funny, it's two digits here... Let's see, that first one's an '8' and the second one is a '0'...

And to you I say: :rasp:

At least we still have two digit temps, but I could do without all the ice... again...

We finally got a respite form the rain.....but according to the paper (and the paper should know) there is more rain coming. In fact they (weather people) are predicting three more storms, due....one each from the North, South and West. All predicted to converge in the mid west. Batten down the hatches!
The American Meteorological Society is due to meet in San Diego next week....which should be hit with the predicted storms/flooding. It seems that where ever they meet the weather turns bad. The groups recently retired executive diretor said: "It always rains on the weathermans's parade." :rotfl:

ps.....to all the folks who saw the Rose Parade and the Rose Bowl game all taking place in beautiful, clear weather and decided to move to California.....it was all a facade....we've had nothing but rain, since. No snow, though.....and two digit temps....but, please don't come...... :-P

:rotfl: It rarely gets below 2 digits here. It's been in the 60s all day today, and is supposed to rain again tomorrow thru sunday. :?
Oh well, Majave, here I come again for a while.

Okay, I'm starting to see your point. I'm in sunny  Dayton, Ohio, this week on business. It was a moist 35 degrees when I landed yesterday. It's going to rain all week. I fly back on Thursday, then it goes down to 15 that night, and snow the next day. Whew!

Have what looks like about 5 inches of snow on the ground this morning, with a few flakes still falling. It's pretty out there, so long as I don't have to drive in it. :)

Or walk in it - the sidewalks are really a big mess right now, plus I need new boots - there were puddles, and not all of them stayed on the outside of my boots where they belong. If'n ya know what I mean. :(

Here's a picture taken in my very own back yard this very morning:

That's what you say now, but just wait a few months until the temp and humidity both go through the roof in that there area.  :rasp:
