Petition to Bring Back UruLive

Post by AnneB » Tue Mar 14, 2006 10:04 am

http://www.petitiononline.com/uru2006/petition.html

I'm putting this here for Trucker to see because I know he will run and sign it. I would like to ask all of the members here to sign as well, just to help us out.

This is for our on-line game that was cancelled by the publisher shortly after the beta-test ended and before it had a chance to grow and develop. For the past 2 years we have been playing a fan-run version, sanctioned by the game developer with little hope of getting the real thing back. Now the developer is trying to get new funding for the on-line game.

You just need to sign, make your email address private, and don't have to play the game - although we would love to see you there. Uru-Ages Beyond Myst can be had for a tenth of what it cost to buy 2 years ago, and invitations are free now.

Not to mention, it's a great game without the violence. :)
I've met and made lots of friends while playing this game. :)

These are screenshots from the on-line game if anyone wants to see what goes on. No monsters, no shooting, no bad guys - just playing games and solving puzzles and exploring beautiful places with our friends.

Thanks for all the signatures.

You don't play games???? :o
Thanks everyone for your signatures. Hopefully we can get enough to "talk" Cyan into putting the "real thing" back online. :)

While there are games that I have tried and have enjoyed I stink at all of them so I don't.

A word to the wise....if you should walk into a room containing a dart board and I'm in there with a dart in my hand...RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! There is no telling where that dart may 'end' up. If you get my drift.

Ditto that. Balls never stay on the table when I'm playing.
