I've heard it compared to trying to make a rope longer by cutting a section of it off one end and attaching it to the other end.

I wish they would leave the time alone. Saturday night after I finished changing all the clocks, it was 1:30 - in the morning!

And this morning I was still awake at 1:00 and, of course, didn't want to get up when the alarm went off.

Only during the day when the bats come in to sleep. At night they're out feeding.

Except that instead of April, it is now in March. And didn't we change them in November instead of October last time?
